Why?

There are plenty of CSS resources on the web, so why make another?

The primary reason was that I wanted to give Gridsome a try. I had taken the Pro Gatsby 2 course on Level Up Tutorials and found it to be an interesting way to develop a site. However, given the choice between React and Vue, I've always been partial to Vue. As I begin learning Gridsome it is currently at version 0.5.0 and has a ways to go before it catches up to Gatsby.

Though I have yet to find a solid Gridsome course, I have been able to use what I learned from Gatsby and apply the same principles.

The second reason I made this site is that in order to learn Gridsome I wanted to have something to build around. The idea of keeping a collection of useful CSS properties is something I've been wanting to do. The idea is to include CSS properties that I don't use very often, but I discover out of necessity while developing sites.

So, this is a CSS site built with Gridsome.

What's Up With The Name?

When first learning CSS Grid I had a tendency to type 'display: gird' instead of 'display: grid'. And if you found this site there's a good chance you did the same thing. Plus, cssgrid.com was taken. It wasn't actually being used for anything, but it wasn't available either.

Oh, I also didn't really want to make a site dedicated to CSS Grid.
